Jungheinrich launches sales of the new ETV 4i reach truck

Jungheinrich is starting sales of the new ETV 4i. Customers will be able to order the new reach truck from 1 September 2026. With the ETV 4i with a load capacity of 1.4 to 2.5 tonnes, Jungheinrich is launching a high-performance reach truck that is consistently designed for maximum productivity. Outstanding lifting and lowering speeds, modern lithium-ion technology and an ergonomic vehicle concept set new standards in high-bay warehouses.

Hamburg – The new ETV 4i expands Jungheinrich's portfolio of high-performance electric reach trucks for high-bay applications with particularly high handling requirements. The vehicle is aimed at users with high handling requirements, for example in distribution centres, production supply or in multi-shift operation. With load capacities of 1.4 to 2.5 tonnes and lifting heights of up to 14 metres, the ETV 4i covers a wide range of applications.

Highest lifting and lowering speed on the market as a productivity lever

The central feature of the ETV 4i is its exceptional dynamics in the mast. Various PRO functions are on board as standard: liftingPRO doubles the lifting speeds to up to 1.6 m/s without load. This means that the reach truck achieves the highest lifting speed in its class on the market. The loweringPRO function doubles the lowering speed to up to 1.2 m/s – also a top value in the market segment. With reachPRO, the push speed is also significantly increased, which enables additional time savings, especially with frequent pallet movements.

These performance data have a direct effect on the handling performance: storage and retrieval processes can be carried out much faster with the ETV 4i, especially at high lifting heights. At the same time, the sensitive control of the hydraulics with semi-automated secondary functions ensures a smooth mast transition and a high level of process reliability even at maximum speed.

Compact lithium-ion design, best visibility and high safety

The fully integrated lithium-ion battery forms the technological basis of the ETV 4i. It enables extremely short charging times as well as flexible intermediate charging and makes battery changes or long charging breaks superfluous. This increases the availability of the vehicle, especially in multi-shift operation.

Thanks to its very compact vehicle design, the ETV 4i is ideal for narrow work aisles and is consistently designed for efficient use of space in the warehouse. The elimination of a classic battery trough enables optimal visibility of the wheel arms and load, a decisive safety factor, especially in narrow aisles.

Optionally available safety features such as integrated light strips increase the visibility of the vehicle in the warehouse. Assistance systems for monitoring the limit load capacity and the configurable positioning laser for particularly easy stacking of the load actively support the driver and contribute to a safe and efficient material flow.

Ergonomic driver's seat for productive work

A generously designed driver's seat with step for ergonomic entry, individually adjustable steering wheel and armrest as well as plenty of freedom of movement ensures a high level of operating comfort. As an option, an innovative camera system further increases ergonomics during storage and retrieval by enabling precise load positioning with minimal physical strain.

The ETV 4i is available in several model and equipment variants and can be specifically adapted to the respective application thanks to numerous options and assistance systems.
