About the Role

Reporting to the MD and Head of HR Region, the HR Manager leads HR strategy, talent, employee relations, and organisational growth across South Africa.

Strategic HR Partner-ship

Trusted advisor to leadership, translating business strategy into people solutions while supporting workforce planning and performance.

Develop-ment and Change

Leads organisational transformation through change management, organisational design, talent strategies, succession planning, and culture development.

Talent and Leadership

Build strong leadership capabilities by identifying, developing, and retaining talent while fostering a culture of continuous learning, growth, and high performance.

Employee Relations Labour Law

Provide expert guidance on labour legislation and employee relations, ensuring compliance and effectively managing complex people-related matters. 

Data-Driven Decision Making

Uses analytics, HR metrics, and market insights to support strategic decision-making, workforce planning, and continuous improvement.

Stakehold-er Manage-ment Influenc-ing

Builds trusted relationships across functions and organisational levels through strong communication, negotiation, resilience, and professional judgment.

Key Competencies & Skills

Skills & Qualifications


  • Degree in Business Administration or related field
  • Strong labour law and HR best practice knowledge
  • Experience leading complex change projects
  • High customer orientation
  • Fluent in English and local language
  • 5+ years HR experience with strong business partnering focus

  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving capability
  • Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Key Responsibilities


  • Lead comprehensive HR management across all business units

  • Partner with the leadership team on all people-related matters
  • Ensure compliance with labour legislation and HR policies
  • Manage personnel cost planning and HR controlling activities
  • Strengthen Diversity & Inclusion and employee wellbeing initiatives
  • Develop and execute country HR strategy aligned to regional and global goals

  • Drive transformation and organizational change initiatives
  • Lead recruitment, succession planning, and talent development
  • Coordinate union and employee relations activities
  • Oversee payroll and HR service delivery excellence
