Jungheinrich has taken a strategic stake in Navflex to jointly develop an AI-powered autonomous solution for truck loading and unloading, advancing end-to-end warehouse automation with field testing already underway with major customers.
Jungheinrich AG has acquired a strategic stake in Navflex Inc., a specialist in Physical AI and autonomous truck loading and unloading, strengthening the partnership between the two companies to bring an innovative automation solution to market.
The joint solution combines Jungheinrich's expertise in industrial trucks, autonomous mobile robots, systems integration, and global service with Navflex's advanced AI software for autonomous perception, navigation, safety, and process control.
Designed specifically for the demanding environments of loading docks, the mobile solution operates in confined, variable spaces without requiring additional infrastructure. It addresses one of the last major manual processes in intralogistics, helping customers overcome labour shortages while improving efficiency, safety, and productivity.
The autonomous solution is currently undergoing extensive field testing with major customers under real operating conditions in preparation for commercial deployment in the European and North American markets.
By investing in Navflex, Jungheinrich reinforces its commitment to delivering fully automated material flows and advancing the future of intelligent warehouse automation.
